"It’s an old hotel but the room was some what updated overall great staff and the most important thing to me was how clean it was. Very clean, quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We will definitely be staying here again."

"The staff here were so incredibly kind and helpful, can't say enough good things about them. The location was perfect for where we needed to be, very convenient. They were actively painting the hallways, trying to stay on top of maintenance which is great! The room was incredibly small- which is fine and to be expected in NYC. The floors didn't feel clean in the room (sticky?) and the bathroom was poorly designed (shower gets water everywhere and is very difficult to turn on and off, sink faucet...

"There is no parking in property and the nearby garage didn’t have room for our truck. When we brought this up to the hotel their only “solution” was trying to find street parking however the neighborhood is not great and we didn’t feel comfortable parking there."

"Tru Brooklyn is always my go to when I am in town. Nice location. Quiet rooms. Nice staff. Love the continental breakfast. Will be back soon!"

"They use downfall pillows in the hotel this causes allergies to people who are allergic to feathers. Also not willing to do a later checkout past 12 even though the hotel wasn’t even close to capacity."
