"Location to the national park and town are both within 10 minutes. The room started leaking water from the roof on the second night and right onto the bed."

"Loved it!! We stayed in a "Deluxe Tent" which far exceeded our expectations. The room was freshly renovated, with a wrap around porch, and rocking chairs, along with a jacuzzi and outdoor shower. Monkeys played in the trees overhead. The food at the resort was better than anywhere in town (the cooks in the kitchen were amazing!). The tours were good and the host at the front desk was there all day from the time we came to breakfast to our last night tour to see the turtles. We felt well cared for and very welcomed by the staff. Highly recommend!!"
"Really authentic place. Beautiful grounds, we saw lots of birds here, and big iguanas. The swimming pool is beautiful and relaxing. Comfy rooms. Make sure to book your tours from here. We booked our turtle tour and canoe tour from here. Our turtle guide is miss Nori from the hotel. She is beyond amazing! She is local, so knowledgeable and does patrols along the beach to protect the turtles. Really admirable!"
"These property is in the middle of a lagoon and you can only access by boat (like alll tortuguero) it has an amazing forest with lots of animals, we saw monkey birds etc.
The room is confortable it has all you need"
"This place is a trip! It’s accessible only by water taxi. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and have screen windows only - no glass! There are monkeys everywhere. The staff is very gracious and nice, and really made our trip special. "
"AC was excellent and much needed in hot, humid climate. Awesome view. Family room was excellent for cost value. Unfortunately, new obnoxious bar next door plays terrible music late into the night. Not the fault of the guesthouse and maybe not an issue mid week. "
"It might not be as fancy as it's neighbouring Resorts but what it lacks in this makes up in Manager & staff friendly, going out of there way to make it a memorable stay. Can't thank the Manager enough, helping us out on tours, getting into town and also connecting us to the next destination, making it stress free and it's just a chilled resort, yes it's basic but we loved it, great little pool which Son made as much use of it as possible and well the wildlife around the resort was just amazing! Recommend this place highly"
"We had a fantastic stay loved the boat ride to the lodge, rooms were spacious, lovely big bathroom
Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river
Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent
Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds
We did a fantastic magical kayaking trip which is a must
We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and the hole shed dug, still a memorable experience
A highlight were the iguanas lounging around the pool with us and the macaws hanging out in the trees "
"Beautiful property. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the available excursions were well organized and fun. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any hot water but that is not an unusual thing for the area."
"The staff is very nice. Book some tours through their partner agency because they have friendly and knowledgeable guides. A few friendly cats in the area, buy some whiskers from the grocery store and make some friends. Sloths in the tree outside. The beach is a few feet away if that’s your thing as well, very shallow water but a refreshing dip. The jungle park is just down the street, 6km out and back close to the beach with some good wildlife. Friendly locals, probably a bit crowded during busy season, but all good vibes. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants but they all have similar menus, not the greatest cuisine but good enough. "
