Very nice Agriturismo in the Langhe (Piemonte)

We spent 7 days in this Agriturismo Il Palazzetto. A peaceful place in the Langhe (Piemonte). A real nice renovated old farm (from the middle ages 1600). The owners, the family Chiecchio, did the renovation themselves. In their estate they have their own restaurant where they cook really fantastic! Everything according the natural method of the Piemonte kitchen.Their hospitality is great and feels comfortable. The place of this agriturismo is called Clavesana. From there you can visit several nice and interesting places in the Piemonte. You can visit: Turin,Cuneo (every tuesday a very nice big market in the centre), Mondovi ,Alba (wine), Barolo (wine museum) and last but not least,you can visit the Mediterranean Sea. When you want to travel fast, you can take the autostrada A6, but you can also take the roads through the hills of the Piemonte surrounded by the Alps.We have had a wonderful and pleasant stay in Il Palazzetto! We can imagine that autumn would be a kind of " Indian Summer" in the Piemonte, a time where you can search for truffles in the woods.

Posto incantevole

Abbiamo soggiornato in un posto incantevole fuori dal rumore e dal traffico. I titolari sono stati molto disponibili e cordiali, la colazione e la cena strepitosa con prodotti locali genuini e del loro orto. La camera accogliente molto curata con arredi in stile contadina. Veramente consigliato per chi vuole rilassarsi in mezzo al verde. Favoloso

Qualité du service dans une superbe batisse

Arrivée en soirée,accueil parfait, une bouteille de vin local nous attendait dans la chambre ainsi que de quoi nous faire le thé. Dîner de qualité préparé avec des produits de la ferme par le fils cuisinier. Petit déjeuner avec des confitures et gâteaux "maison". Découverte de la bâtisse de jour nous admirons le travail de restauration de cette ancienne bâtisse où tout a été fait avec gout.

Beautiful hotel, ruined by rude staff

Beautiful property, but about a 20 minute drive from major wineries. Our stay was truly ruined by poor service. We enjoyed the property and found our room to be very welcoming and comfortable. However, I would never return and would certainly never recommend this hotel because the staff was rude, unwelcoming, and unhelpful.
