One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Maria was a wonderful help. Try and get a room with a view of the Monastery. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was refreshing on a hot day!

This is truly a beautiful boutique hotel. I really liked how it was decorated. I also like the fact that inside the hotel, there was a small area where you can purchase locally made goods and that they had an honesty bar where you could buy items for consumption. The hotel itself isn’t a very good location, walking distance to the monastery, restaurants, and shops. We were in room 503 which overlooked the monastery and I have to say it was a truly a beautiful site. We definitely took advantage of the balcony where we sat for a while, admiring the sunset and the monastery at night. The breakfast, had quite a few options, they also made fresh scrambled eggs and pancakes. I had the pancakes and they were fluffy, slightly sweet and very good. So far, this has been one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed at during our travels. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

This was smaller hotel but it was very clean. Room and bathroom were modern/updated. The pool was on the small side, but it was clean, refreshing and well maintained. The staff was friendly and spoke good English. There was a nice variety of products for sale that were made in Portugal in the lobby. Also snacks and wine were available. Hot breakfast buffet was available daily and it had a variety of tasty food items. I accidentally left my electric adapters at a previous hotel. They were kind enough to loan me 2 for my stay. Parking is a bit challenging; you might have to drive around a bit to find a space. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was fine. Clean, friendly staff, much better than average parking at the back door. Good breakfast and nice facilities. There is one negative, though and for tourists in need of internet it is a real problem. The internet at the hotel was almost un usable in our room. This was the standard of internet from 15 years ago. Very weak signal, unable to load pages, let alone actually stream anything. I was stronger but not good closer to the reception. I had to burn through data using my cell phone as a hot spot with an e sim. This is just not acceptable in a current day hotel. Hotel staff were sympathetic but offered no real solutions. For tourists needing to check in on line for flights this is a real deal breaker. The hotel is too good to have this black mark. Decent high speed internet should be the default not a luxury.

Overall very good choice

Overall very nice stay in Casa de Outeiro and Batalha is a very good central spot to visit the région. The room could have been a little bigger and coffee at breakfast needs improvement.
