"My husband and I spent our anniversary at this amazing hotel. Every aspect was spectacular from the moment we checked in to the day we departed. Every staff member was kind, our room was cozy and clean, and the amenities such as the pool, hot tub, and sauna helped us relax. The ocean view and the sound of the crashing waves were enjoyed from our room as well as our balcony. The gas fireplace kept us warm as we snuggled on the full size couch. This place is a gem!"

"Waiting for refund. Room booked through Expedia was not available at time of arrival. Hassle to deal with afterhours and limited availability with in the area to accommodate our stay needs. The bay front room we were assigned in error was not appealing. Smelled of smoke and did not feel clean. Was nothing like all the pictures shown in posting. "

"Old historic Victorian style home with refurbished interiors and nice decor. Small pub shares downstairs half. Room was quiet for sleeping; gas fireplace worked one of two times; wifi unfortunately was terrible throughout, but best powerful & hot rainfall shower we’ve ever had. Not oceanfront, but very short walk right onto Haystack Rock beach. "
