All staff are a credit to the Doric. With complimentary tram passes it is effortless to see the sights of Blackpool. I can honestly say there wasn’t anything to complain about. "From the moment you see it you know its a dump. As soon as you open the door to reception you smell the musty damp smell. Its huge, needs knocking down & start again. Or better still turn it into a car park. Mould everywhere just needs a complete renovation. To think we paid money to stay there is scandalous. "

"Room itself fine but newly fitted shower tray flooded bathroom - Room service poor as 3 different menus give 3 different times this is available and a 4 Star hotel stopping room service at 8.00pm???? Wnen cold sandwiches came with chips quality was v poor - drie out bread a scraping of butter and over-fried oily chips - definitely not a 4 Star hotel - younger bar tender needs training on customer service and attitude. Housekeeping staff and receptionist great."
