"Absolutely everything that was advertised at Mr Tucan met and far exceeded our expectations! Everything was clean, everything we needed that we expected was available to us, and the staff were always very helpful, friendly and professional. Thanks to Santiago & Dayna at Reception, and Wendy in Management throughout our stay. All the Bean Crazy Restaurant staff were amazing including Betsy, Jackson, Rhianna and many more. The included breakfast and everything else we ordered at the restaurant was delicious. The housekeeping staff were always friendly and accommodating for anything we needed and security was always professional and present on the property which made it feel very secure (however, we never felt like it was unsafe anywhere). Thank you! "

"We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the experience. The lodging is terrific and diving, jet skiing, snorkeling and sailing are right there on the beach. The restaurant and bar (which also serves food) have good food and drinks. However, it often felt as though they were understaffed and running a bit frantic. It wasn’t uncommon to see the wait staff talking when guests were waiting to order or get food. The two restaurants are the main eateries at the resort and there are no restaurants nearby. Unless you have a car, you either hire a taxi or eat at the resort. One evening, both restaurants closed for a private event and all guests had to either eat at the golf club, which was basic and not very good, or take a taxi somewhere. It’s not very logical to close both restaurants and leave your guests stranded. Poor decision. I spoke to the manager, who has been in place only a month, and shared my observations. She seemed genuinely open to the feedback. I recommend Las Verandas, but I would confirm you will have access to everything before booking. "

"2nd time staying at Arihini. The staff is very friendly and helpful and is prompt at responding to any requests. The only “negative” comment we have is that the combo washer/dryer in the units are not efficient….takes over 3 hrs to do a load of laundry! "

"Truly the most beautiful beach we saw during our entire time on the island. This private island is absolutely gorgeous. The beach alone makes it worth the visit. The rooms could use some updating, and the food felt more like filler food than anything memorable. That said, the drinks kept coming and the beach was easily the best we experienced anywhere on the island. If you want to avoid crowds and simply enjoy a stunning beach in a peaceful setting, this resort is a great choice. Unfortunately, you will need to wait for them to rebuild. The resort actually burned to the ground the same day we checked out. Quite a shocking end to an otherwise beautiful stay."
