The property is very quaint and lime atelping back in time to the days of roadside motels. Staff was exceptionally friendly.and the property was homey. Very simple yet nice. The bedding was nice and colorful not just basic whites.

We came on a 3 day fishing trip with my wife and 2 young boys ages 8 and 12. The motel is clean, and a comfy place to lay your head at night. The staff is very kind.

I’m quite happy that I stayed at the Cedar Motel. The place is charming, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. I was able to lay in my bed and look out the window across the bay and it was so peaceful sitting and drinking my morning tea on the front bench, looking out across the water. Great place for peace and quiet. If I come back to this area, most definitely will stay here again.

Quaint, homey motel in a beautiful setting.

This was our second stay and it was so good to be back! The rooms are clean, the service is excellent, and watching the sun rise on the bay is awesome. My favorite place to be on the Lake. ☺️

Fantastic stay

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The property manager is so friendly and accommodating. The motel is in a great location right on the water and within walking distance to two restaurants.

The Cedar Motel is a hidden gem in the Sandusky Bay Area. Clean, cozy, and close to all attractions while still being off the beaten path in a unique location on the peninsula.

Mini vacation

The motel was very clean and comfortable, the lady at the desk was very nice and informational, the view was great, it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. I would stay here again. The two restaurants that are close, the food was good and the staff was very friendly.
