At first, it took me a moment to get used to the reception and dining area being on the 9th floor. Reception were great, provided a quick tour of the facilities and explained what was available during my stay. The view from the 9th floor restaurant was awesome. Hot shower, easy to use. Loved the short but comfy stay.

This hotel is very nice especially staff here are very kind and helpful. They also allow guest use club lounge so get a nice coffee and tea also have some snacks to get, it was amazing! Totally recommend and if I have chance to visit this city definitely go this hotel again!

It was great!

It was in a great location, about 3 miles walking from the beach and a mile from the city center, but there was a bike path that ran in both directions, making all things easily accessible. There was a rooftop common area with snacks and drinks all day included in the price of the stay, as well as many other amenities that made this hotel worthwhile.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay in Bayonne. The OKKO was an excellent choice and I’ll definitely be returning! I particularly liked the quirky/futuristic bathroom which was well equipped and had an excellent shower! I felt very comfortable during my visit. The overall standard of the hotel and facilities was 5 Stars! The added bonus was the location of the hotel which was close to the city centre and conveniently located for the excellent public transport links!

Best of Bayonne

Amazing location in Bayonne. Very walkable to the Old Town, Cathedral, market, etc. we parked off site a block away and overnight parking was only 4 euros. Best part of the hotel is their club lounge on the 8th floor. Accessible to all guests, it has spectacular views of the city, river and. Cathedral spires. Very large space stocked with drinks and snacks. We worked remote from here during our stay and it was very comfortable and well equipped for remote working. We will definitely be back if in Bayonne again

A Design Dream

Initially we were not told that we should reserve for parking, so finding where we were to park was confusing; however, the lot was fine and we were charged 2 euros! The hotel is a design dream. Crazy that you can see into the bathroom, but it works. The club on the top floor is fun with a great view of the city. The staff is very patient and friendly.

Such a unique concept of a hotel with the reception on the 9th floor with a large lounge called the Club, which offers a 360° view of Bayonne. Staying here give you access to the club which offers complimentary beverages and snacks, open 24h. My room was rather small, but the design is Zen and so unique, using space in a very ingenious manner. The bathroom is like something out of a sci-fi movie, so cool! Best rain shower EVER! Beautifully located along the l'Adour River and walking distance to the old Bayonne. Next to MOMA food court. One of the Best Hotel I've stayed in! I have nothing negative to say except I think the batteries in the TV remote where probably due to be changed.

The hotel is rather quirky on first impression, however it was really nice place to stay. Everything seemed to immaculately clean and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The establishment appeared to be a bit out from the centre but in reality wasn’t. The cathedral could be reached in less than a 15 minute walk and the T1 bus to Biarritz stopped outside. This ran to Biarritz every 15 minutes and the fare was only €1.5. The breakfast were excellent and good quality. There is a small range of food in the evening but ‘small plates’ are available in the club. More substantial meals would necessitate a walk to the centre, although there is a food hall nearby that offers a wide range of food styles. We found this perfectly adequate and had a very good atmosphere. In conclusion we were very impressed with the OKKO offering that were previously unaware of and will definitely consider these hotels in the future.

I love the firm bed, buffet food is delicious especially the basket of fruits, walking distance to the grocery. Close to the train station and old town as long as you don't mind walking. Snacks and coffee machine open for 24hours is great!

Very good choice in a city we really enjoyed. Very good bedrooms, excellent top floor lounge/ eating area and breakfast choice. Only down points were the sometimes frustrating lifts, slightly steep prices for overnight parking and a disappointing lack of response to pre arrival communication (in person at the hotel was good). But would generally recommend strongly.

No parking available upon arrival. Very bad mobile reception in the building. Door to bathroom didn’t close (kept on falling open) which makes the see through design of it even less private. TV didn’t work at first but was fixed. No Netflix app to link your own netflix to, only TV channels which feels pretty outdated. Sauna: you need to book a timeslot of 15 mins on the form near the reception area.

Great place to stay in Bayonne.

The only thing wrong with my stay was the weather. The hotel is perfectly situated, and has a lovely and welcoming staff.
