"The rooms here are very spacious, the cleaning staff and front desk staff are excellent and helpful. Especially love the dog friendliness of this motel. There are two nearby parks with trails Felicita County Park and Kit Carson. Both good for kids activities and Kit Carson has disc golf and a sports center. Loads of shopping and grocery stores within a mile. Stay on the second floor for a quieter experience. "

"Everything was great except no coffee pot in the room and no phone in the room to contact the front desk. The soda machine was out of order. Make the bar of soaps larger and everything would have been perfect."

"Room was clean, small kitchenette, fridge, microwave. Comfortable, and amazing location. You can walk to all the best parts of Carlsbad village. Room was freezing though , had ac for hotter days but only a small space heater for cold times "
