"Everything was great but it was the staff that made it really special. I would stay again. The room was spotless everyday. It has terrific access to the beach. The only thing is it is such a beautiful location that it is pretty busy, that said we were always able to find a seat."

"The hotel is very relaxing and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast in the morning was perfect to get you going with a view of the ocean as well. There’s even a pool that allows for some relaxation and escape from the sun. A perfect retreat, which still allows you to explore the village."

"Fantastic stay at the lotus beach hotel. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious! Snorkeling right is the beach coast was a nice bonus. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants!! "

The location is good and easy two minute walk from the ferry. The pool was okay - We spent our days at the beach so didn’t really need a pool. I would stay here again for sure. "

"Staff were accommodating. Place and its location is very accessible to restaurants, stalls, and tourist area, especially the beach. You’re 3 to 5 minutes walk to the beach areas, don’t look for a beach front in this hotel. I recommend that you bring your own toiletries. Don’t expect for the cleanliness of your room to be a top notch like your 3-5 stars hotel. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay if you’re looking for a homy and chill vibe in the island."

"Had a great 10 day stay in one of the ground floor studios. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar had good food and reasonably priced drinks. Pool was lovely and refreshingly cool. My one and only negative is the hall noise carries into the rooms. We brought a sleep sound machine and just turned it up so wasn't an issue for us but may be for others. Been going to Isla M for over 30 years and really loved this hotel. Will stay here again."

"The lobby of the hotel and the room we stayed in were clean, modern and welcoming. The view of the pool, beach and ocean was beautiful. Our room had an amazing balcony with two sitting areas (one for lounge chairs) and a jacuzzi tub - all looking out at the beach & ocean. The pools were lovely for swimming - clean and in good repair. We were disappointed that we weren't aware ahead of time that there is no swimming in the ocean there - and it seemed, on that side of the island. In the photos it...

"Staff was friendly is the only thing going for this hotel. Sheets were filthy Bathroom was covered in mold Walls were paper thin and one could hear everything going on in other rooms and I am not a light sleeper. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular-but this did not even meet basic 1star experience. "

"Hidden gym. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Desk staff was helpful.and friendly. We had a room facing the back of the hotel so no problem with noise. Room had strong WiFi and air conditioning. The shower had cool water but no hot water. Bed mattess was firm but not uncomfortable. "

"Beautiful room with everything you need (fridge, coffee maker, soaps, TV with Netflix log in). WiFi was good. There were both a ceiling fan and AC. They offer beach towels, but don't have very many, so make sure you ask early or bring your own. All in all the room was very comfortable. Location is good, 10 mins walk to the North beach and 3 min walk from the main street. 3 mins to the ferry terminal. The staff was polite enough, but not very friendly. We felt like we were an annoyance to them,...

"Es una muy buena opción considerando que es un hostal, no se espera lujo pero si limpieza y lo cumplen así como el trato amable por parte del staff, un punto a mejorar sería la presión del agua, el wc tardaba en llenarse, pero en general me gusto, si volvería a hospedarme. La ubicación es excelente a unas cuadras de playa norte, cerca del mercado con opciones para desayunar y cenar tacos, hotdogs, marquesitas, etc"
