"The room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. We reported the issue to the front desk, but instead of sending housekeeping, we were surprisingly handed a broom and dustpan and asked to clean it ourselves. I've stayed at many hotels over the years, and this was the first time I've experienced something like that. It was quite disappointing and not what I would expect from any hotel.
On the positive side, the property appears to be fairly new. However, the amenities were below...

"rooms were decent size, balcony was a nice touch. bed pretty comfy. pool itself was nice, water temperature was good, area around pool was messy, food plates left on tables, tables dirty. on top of your room rate, breakfast was 22 bucks a person and 17 bucks a night to park your car. location was good, close to I25 and places to eat close by. seems like they nickel and dime you with the extras but maybe most places do that these days...."

"The staff members were very helpful, however the hotel was not clean. There were questionable stains all over the carpets, it smelled like cigarette smoke and weed even though it’s a “no smoking” hotel, the beds felt like boxes, and the rooms smelled like dogs.
