"Staying at The Block was a truly enjoyable experience. Lots of history there and we stayed for four nights. This small hotel was renovated from an old Sheriff's Office and town jail so don't expect a lot of fancy five-star amenities, but it is well taken care of clean, and comfortable. Upon arrival, there was a mix-up in our reservations (my fault) but we were met by Jennifer who helped us correct the mix-up and then continued to make our stay enjoyable for the entire week. She is very personable and an invaluable addition to the Block staff, always there to offer suggestions of things to do, places to go or find places to eat. Thank you, Jennifer for an amazing job. "Everything was great. I appreciate the staff that helped me and parking was good. The room was great. "

"There was no onsite parking and it was on a very narrow street. If you need to drop off your luggage, you would have to drive all the way up a narrow two way street and hope no one is coming the other way. Parking was down below where you have to walk down stairs or a ramp. There were lots of people in that parking area who were just "hanging around" and it seemed unsafe. The room was fine, if you don't mind the sink being in the bedroom instead of the bathroom."

"Only down side was that the hot tub wasn’t working. Real eggs for breakfast, staff was excellent. I could figure out the tv and they came to my room to help."
