"After being greeted so warmly by gate security, the tone was set for service excellence by the Constance Ephelia team. We stayed in a Jnr suite, which was well presented and large, with a beach/sea facing view. Room cleaning staff were excellent, twice a day the room was seen too. There are 5 restaurants on the resort, all very nice delivering great food, and various types to keep everyone happy, and themed evenings to give additional variety, we went half board, which was perfect, full board given the amazing food would have left us in a food coma each day. There are also multiple bards for afternoon or evening drinks, with evenings offering live music. There are 2 main beaches, north and south, each offering water sports, the south beach is quieter and our preference, however the tide effects watersports here as its shallow. When I booked, I contacted the hotel and they arranged transport to and from the airport. Special mention to Crispin on reception, who went above and beyond on assisting me."

"The room was gorgeous - v spacious. Amazing for snorkelling and the beach is absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed the food, my only suggestion would be to have some free bubbly at breakfast as other comparable resorts on Mahe do. The coffee is actually good here which is rare! The alcoholic drinks aren’t cheap but they are nice. The service is great, bringing you water on the sunloungers. "

"It was clean and spacious, you have a kitchenette and a convenience store right below. Some restaurants around, and if you walk to the beach, which is not in front of the property, you will find several restaurants. The staff is friendly and willing to help you, and it feels safe, with a lift, so you don't have to struggle with your luggage."

"We really enjoyed ourselves at tropical hideaway. This was the first family vacation when we booked a car rental vs hiring drivers and there was safe parking available with plenty of spots for guests. Our room was spacious and everything was provided like bedding and towels as well as kitchen appliances and utensils. The cleaners cleaned every day except Sunday and holidays and they did an amazing job. They went above and beyond more than once to make sure we had what we needed. The hosts were amazing as well making sure we had an excellent holiday. The hotel is an easy walk to the beach and supermarket. The pool area was nice and the gazebo was cool and comfortable in the afternoon. Every evening my children and I strolled around the block near the beach and we were never bothered by loud parties and while we were there it was firmly family occupied. There did seem to be some nightlife on weekends by the beach in case anyone would be interested. Food shacks and music with a beach vibe. My teens really enjoyed spending some time with Oma the resident rescue tortoise. A short drive to Anse major for a hike and secluded beach is a must and we also discovered sunset beach which was beautifully secluded but accessible from the road directly although parking was tricky there and no nearby restaurants so bring your picnic. Highly recommended. "

"I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised with a birthday celebration at breakfast. This place is amazing. I will definitely stay here again. The ocean view from the patio was a great touch each morning and the sounds of waves to help me sleep at night. A great experience highly recommended."
