"We stayed at Hotel Caprice Grindelwald for four nights with breakfast and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although breakfast was buffet-style, they offered specialty coffees and hot dishes like bacon and eggs on request, which added a personal touch.
Our room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony with stunning views of the Eiger mountain. It included a kettle with coffee and tea, which was great for warming up in cold weather, and daily bottled water refills. However, there was no mini fridge, so storing food wasn’t possible.
We appreciated the pillow selection, especially when my husband switched to a headache relief pillow that helped him sleep better. The hotel is in a convenient location, just a few minutes from the train station, bus stops, Coop supermarket, and restaurants. The free guest bus pass was a great perk for visiting places like Grindelwald First, Terminal, and Glacier Canyon.
There’s also a gym and spa, though we didn’t use them this time. Overall, it’s a calming and relaxing place, and we highly recommend it."
