I wou definitely stay at this small boutique hotel. The host is very nice. The location is walkable to the water taxi, local food and downtown. The room was clean, spacious, AC nice and cold, warm shower and the bed was very comfortable. If you need help with booking Nythung they will you as well.

My wife and I chose to stay at the One South Place hotel due to its location. We could walk to several of the sites on our tourist list or easily secure transportation. We were delighted to be in a smaller hotel that seemed more like someone's home. The room was immaculate and cozy. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and to offer sightseeing advice. There is no elevator in case you need one. The attached restaurant was particularly handy for breakfast. We had a most enjoyable stay.

The location was good, the room was clean and modern, the bathroom was excellent and, because we chose an ocean view room we had wonderful breezes. My only complaint was that the sheets and bedspread were polyester. Which means, even though the room was cool, we were still bathed with sweat. On our second night we requested a cotton blanket instead of the polyester bedspread and we slept very well.

We were immediately greeted with a welcome hug, which was so appreciated. The owner David, and the staff treated us better than family. The location is very walkable to everywhere or they can call you a taxi in a heartbeat. There was a minor issue with our toilet, and immediately they were checking it out and then upgraded us to a bigger beautiful room so we would not be bothered by the inconvenience. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and we ate breakfast in the morning at their restaurant, which was delicious, and their cappuccinos wonderful! We highly recommend staying here, and definitely will be returning n the future.

We booked for 9 nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable. Fridge, safe, and coffee maker in room. Microwave in common area with open area to sit or view the gardens or harbour view. Security and hotel staff were very helpful from arranging taxis, providing info, and having available delicious local food. Farmers market, grocery, restaurants, and water taxi within walking distance.

One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable.
