"From a customer service standpoint, the staff is mediocre at best and says a lot about the Hilton brand. Within three hours of arriving to the Hilton Santa Marta, my wife had $240 stolen from her purse from a cleaning lady. A few failed efforts to come to a reasonable resolution, has left a very bad taste in my mouth considering I was vacationing with my family (which included 3 children). 5 days have passed and absolutely nothing has been done. "The room was very clean and the staff was wonderful. The food was exceptional. The only issue was that when you rented a canopy at the beach you had to give that up at 4 o’clock and you were only able to stay at the beach until seven in the evening."
