"The Luck Esan medium room was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The shower, airco, wifi, lighting, frig, flat tv all operated well. There is cupboard space, table, chair. The staff is friendly and efficient. A large Lotus supermarket and an 711 is within a 5 minute walk. The hotel has no lift. A ground floor room with microwave and free coffee is nice to use. "

"Ubon itself has taken a hit from the closure due to co-vid. This place was nicely kept up despite obvious lack of business recently. Nicer than others I visited nearby. Little too well lit at night. I'll bring my eye shades next time. Local stray dogs not as aggressive as many places in Thailand are having problems with. Especially at night. A short safe walk to the airport. "Easy check-in Staff were very helpful Very close to the main street where there were plenty bars, restaurants and temples to visit. Air-conditioning worked fine. Two bottles of water to the apartment every day Free tea, coffee, juice and biscuits in reception for guests to help themselves to. "The rooms are fine and the bathroom although 'ageing' was crucially kept clean, with hot water there for shaving! The real downside is breakfast. Instant coffee, white toast and supposedly a cooked item to be ordered. On morning 1, I asked for pork fried rice (Khao pad moo). It came slowly and was lukewarm at best. "I expected the hotel to be basic and dull but was pleasantly surprised. The room was excellent value for the price. Decent sized for TV with excellent quality picture. Everything is clean and new. 5 minute walk to Tawangden. Would stay there again no problem"
