"Excellent hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms. Fantastic location. Incredibly helpful and responsive staff. Breakfast a la carte options were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was not as vast as other hotels (even hotels that are comparably less posh), and the buffet was not restocked as effectively). That was the only minor issue. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it."

"We reserved a room (Room 701) which seemed to be accessible only by a winding metal stairwell. The dormer windows provided nice indirect light, but you only got the view of the harbor and historic old town if you went to stand and look out the narrow openings of the dormer windows, so it was not the spacious panorama we had expected. But as it was a rainy/foggy day, we did not miss all that much. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was unusually spacious, well laid-out and well-appointed,...

"The pool is not part of the hotel and is an extra??? The photos online suggest this is a hotel amenity. But otherwise… Good location. I didn’t find it loud as others have written. The standard room was very small for two adults and the layout wasn’t ideal for two suitcases."

"The location was excellent, very close to the city center, and the size of the house with six bedrooms was also good. However, the overall condition of the house did not match what we expected based on the photos shown on the website. The photos only show one bedroom and the living room, which are in acceptable condition, but the rest of the house—including the other five bedrooms, the kitchen, and the second bathroom—were older and in worse condition than the areas shown in the pictures. "The staff at the front desk was extra helpful especially the tall gentleman with the beard. Didn’t get his name. Marius at the bar upstairs was very helpful and friendly as well. It was close to the downtown without too much of a walk and very close to the train station which worked for us going to Oslo on Sunday."
