"Hotel was very clean so was the room . It was my family and I first time at this hotel and we will be back the next time we are in VA . Staff was very friendly ."

"The room was well-appointed, especially the bathroom. There were lots of little shelves and raised areas for our travel "stuff" that needs to be accessible in the bathroom. Also, we appreciated the extra blanket in the room (found in the bag for the sofa bed) because our feet get cold at night and having one available meant we didn't have to ask. Breakfast was wonderful. The best part was the pastry option: choices of mini blueberry or iced lemon-poppyseed scones that melted in our mouths. The rest of the breakfast choices were delicious as well. The applewood bacon wasn't fatty at all and deserves a thumbs up, too! If you went away hungry, then it was your own fault."

"Breakfast menu needs work, for example the toaster did not “toast” the bread and the oatmeal was watery."

"The hotel was well situated. We found a very nice Italian restaurant less than a mile away and were able to make a reservation. We liked the room’s size and layout. My only complaint is that the sofa was made for very tall people. My back did not reach the back of the sofa. I am 5’6” tall. One or more big, thick cushions would have given my back support. Another chair designed for people of average height would also have helped."

"Some of the parking lot security lights were out. My room keys had to be reprogrammed 4 times over a two night stay. The room-darkening curtains wouldn’t close so the maintenance staff had to fix it. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. This is the second time we have stayed there. We would stay again. "
