"Very clean, and the staff was nice. It was just a little bare bones. There is no power outlet in the bathroom, which is a problem when getting ready for the day. The only power outlet near a mirror is in the hallway in front of the coffee pot and refrigerator."

Area seemed nice with a reasonable selection of shops but mainly cafes, restaurants & pubs. Quite residential and built up behind the main High Street but not commercial structures. Schools within the area. But not sure I’d consider living here

It is a bustling, attractive town with lots of history. The castle and the ancient church of St Peters are beautiful and very interesting. There are lots of upmarket shops plus 2 markets. Beautiful canal and 3 miles from Ashridge forest with deer.
