This was one of those places that is a pleasant surprise, not because of anything major, but because everything is done well, and without fuss or annoyance. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing, the hotel is clean and well maintained in both private and public areas. The food is good and the location is convenient for both local facilities and travel further afield.

A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We hired a car to explore the area and towards the Spanish border, and we were always able to find a free parking space in the surrounding streets around the...

This Hotel is a family run business with a focus on hospitality and friendliness. The room was adequate for what we wanted but was old fashioned with a small balcony. Everything else about this hotel was exceptional, the pool area, the breakfast, the cuisine all 5 star. Then you walk out of the pool area into the very well kept gardens and the ponds. Most enjoyable stay with friendly staff, well appointed apartment for the price and great swimming pool with it's own bar, delightful cocktail barman, Rudi, (check out his Sangria!) and poolside dining facilities. Also the main restaurant, Bobby Jones Grill and Bar was first class where the decking outside overlooks the golf course set in beautiful umbrella pines. Late afternoon 'happy hour' is a must! We also had several breakfasts in the coffee bar by reception and 'full English' was just that...
