"Shower head holder is broken and you need to hold it manually!
Room is next to the road and is very noisy with traffic noise.
Breakfast is good with fresh fruits.
There is no air con and no fans to lend to customers when we asked."

"All the staff we met were friendly and professional. Special mention to Chiara (hope I’ve spelt that right) who was on reception 1pm Saturday 30/5/26 and Sunday morning: Thank you for sorting out our early check in request so we could attend a family event on time.
The breakfast service staff were a delight too as were the vegetarian options with some clearly marked as vegan (croissants) which was perfect and having plant-based sausages without having to wait for them to be made to order was great.
Looking forward to a longer stay in a couple of months. Keep up the good work."
"Hotel room was excellent. On site restaurant was also excellent.
Perfect location as we had a lovely walk down the zig zag path down to the beach after our meal and honestly was one of the most pleasant evenings we have spent in a uk location for a long time."
"The room was exactly as described, clean and comfortable for a budget hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There was an issue with the lift during my visit, which was a bit inconvenient, but otherwise everything was fine. Overall, good value for money and a pleasant stay for the price."
"The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the room was clean on arrival. The hotel was also nice and quiet, which helped us get a good night’s sleep, although we found the bed a little uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options and extremely poor gluten-free choices for my coeliac child. There was no gluten-free bread, biscuits, or muffins available for example . Despite booking breakfast for 9:00 am at check-in, we still had to wait around 10 minutes for a table each morning , which made the booking system seem pointless.
Housekeeping could also be improved, as the bedding and pillows often looked rushed and untidy after the room had been serviced.
Overall, the friendly staff were the highlight of our stay, but the breakfast and housekeeping standards let the experience down."
"The hotel was OK, but for the price I felt the room was dated compared to other budget hotels. No air con in our room, light switch controlled ALL lights in the room, so no bedside reading light which is really annoying when there's two or more of you sharing a room. TV channel options seemed to be hit and miss. Other than that breakfast was good and staff were very helpful and pleasant. In terms of location it was ideal, but if I was less fussy about location there are probably better value hotels in Maidstone. Oh and you have to pay for parking, not a massive charge, but just include it in the bill, otherwise it just feels like an unnecessary extra cost that I don't think is well advertised when booking"
"If you’re scrolling for a hotel PLEASE KEEP SCROLLING.
Absolutely disgusting & filthy.
In the words of my partner, “if we had a dog, I wouldn’t let that stay here ……”
To get into the room we had to move bags of rubbish outside the actually room to start with.
Walked in and found a towel used by the previous guests still in the bathroom ( and we could tell as it was dirty and stained ) .
The room was stuffy with no air and couldn’t open the windows as painted closed. The view was of the dilapidated car park ….
The bed had springs that creaked with every tiny movement and sticking up beyond the mattress.
The carpet was stained and the rooms paintwork was dirty, chipped and a ‘lovely’ hue of yellow, where once it should’ve been white !
We did complain and asked for a refund, which came from Expedia but in the princely amount of £30……
But the hotel seemed to have not cared less…
Makes me wonder if Expedia actually check any of their hotels on the website as I’m sure if any reputable travel site actually saw this with their own eyes, they’d have taken this down and not advertised it.
We ran so fast that in hindsight we wished we’d taken photos as seeing is believing.
