"This is an old school NH hotel. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and nostalgic. There is an active beaver pond on the premises and it is close to nearby attractions and hiking. Make sure to check whether your reservation is for the main building or across the street at the annex. The pool area looks updated and very nice (although we did not use it ). Dinner at the Thunderbird lounge was delicious with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pond and mountains. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. The observation tower is also worth the trek up the stairs for a $1 token sold near the gift shop. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay here for one night! The hotel was nice and clean for our needs. Breakfast had the classic options that work well for guests. We also felt very safe as two female travelers which was important to us. The only thing is that we wished the TV was more updated, but it still worked just fine. We would definitely stay here again!"
