"The main building, bar and restaurant are lovely and the parking is also good. Staff are friendly if perhaps not always immediately available. However, the room was distinctly average, or perhaps not worth the money paid. There was a strange smell in the room, which was worse in the heavily dated bathroom. "Beautiful property in an amazing location. Sean was fantastic. He was very personable and have great recommendations for food in town and walks/sites to see in the area. Breakfast was delicious. We wish we could have stayed another night. "

"The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on...

"Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. "
