"I would rate this hotel as superb with one major exception: the fan noise from the AC. On my second night I woke up and decided to download a decibel meter. It measured 87 decibels. According to AI this is a level that can damage your hearing if exposed for 8 hours or more. I'm a building professional, and I believe this is due to one of, or combinations of, three things: the fan is oversized; the duct is undersized; or the fan is not appropriate for this application."

"I got to the property around or past midnight ready to take a shower and sleep. They were really nice at reception and checking me in. I got my room and went in the shower, already wet, there was no shampoo, no conditioner and no body wash. Everything was out, I had face soap and had to made do with that. Disappointed. "We’ve stayed at this hotel seven different times, usually for 2–3 nights each visit. We always choose it when we come to Portland because it’s nice to get out of downtown, and we love having IKEA nearby. Until this stay, we’ve had nothing but positive experiences.
