"The rooms were not at all like the pictures. They were taken when the place was new. The place is not new. Very run down. Won’t be back."

"It’s a wonderful property- or once was….needs a million dollar clean up and update…..Staff are wonderful and the restaurant and Rafters Bar are wonderful hangouts in the off season. Nice trails and location. Easy access to Alexandria and interesting check points all around."

"We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area."
