"lovely relaxing hotel"

"NO AIR CONDITIONING. I encountered unbearably hot hotel rooms (30 degrees at night when trying to sleep) and very poor customer service at Vertus Edit. There is no air conditioning and the windows only open about 4-5cm. In addition there is a building site next door so, when you have the window open, you get noise and dust in. Customer service is very poor. I asked for an early check out due to the heat. The staff told me I could check out, but they would not provide any refund for unused...

"I loved this hotel. A+ staff. Rooms were bigger than any other I'd stayed in in London. Yes, It's not in downtown London, but if you walk 10 minutes you're at the Elizabeth Line that takes you right in. OH and the Elizabeth Line runs all the way to the airport. This was a great find!"

"It was my second time staying at this hotel and I greatly enjoyed my stay as well. The uniqueness of the hotel and its 'homy' feeling are definitely big plusses for me, makes a big change from the big hotel chains. The staff was very helpful and attentive. For the first time, I took the breakfast and I was not disappointed. It was very good, with a good share of varieties, and very well-presented. "My room was ready upon arrival. Room service was excellent. Breakfast Buffet was excellent. Easy check in/check out process. Walking distance to mall and restaurants/food truck park. London tube system nearby."

"1 von 5 Sternen Das Ark Canary Wharf war eine große Enttäuschung. Die gesamte Unterkunft macht einen stark vernachlässigten und heruntergekommenen Eindruck. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche wirken, als wären sie seit Jahren nicht mehr ordentlich instand gehalten worden. Besonders auffällig war der Zustand der Teppiche auf den Fluren. Diese waren in einem erbärmlichen Zustand, stark abgenutzt und vermittelten keinen gepflegten Eindruck. Auch die Zimmer selbst zeigten...

"The stay at the hotel was good but the receptionist when checking in wasn’t helpful or polite! I had requested a twin room and that hadn’t been allocated and when I called down the receptionist said there was no guarantee of a twin! There are only 12 in the hotel and they were booked! On a second occasion of approaching reception the receptionist was very helpful!"

"Such a great spot. One stop from O2 and near shops and restaurants. Very quiet and all amenities catered for. Rooms are very small so be aware. I would like to see a slightly better deal on the smaller rooms. It would make me more likely to return."

"Got the 2 bed room apartment for a long family stay, and the apartment was well cleaned, fresh and airy. Amenities (washer/dryer, microwave, cooker etc all included). The staff were welcoming and helpful especially the Manager, house keeping came every other day or so & were thorough, Location is great at Canary wharf, close to the train station and other nice shopping & dining access within walking distance. Overall would definitely recommend this Fraser place for stays!"

"The property was lovely , the room beautiful clean and well stocked. All of the staff were so helpful friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located v close to the dlr and a short walk to both Elizabeth’s line and jubilee . Would stay here again for sure."

"Rooms do not have AC instead you are given a fan , which isn't sufficient when it's 31 degrees outside. Water pressure was low in our room so we could not shower until after 2pm despite reporting the issue at 10am. The room we were given was on the ground floor and did not have an outdoor area therefore we were unable to use this to dry our clothes outside in the warm weather. The photos of the rooms make it look like every room as some outdoor space. Washer dryer supplied was not good quality,...

"The room we staying in the bathroom door was very stiff and wouldn't close properly from the inside as we were worried we would get locked in, apart from that it was perfect"

"The hallways were very dirty and in need of a vacuum. We booked a room (209) for 3 people. The 3rd bed (sofa bed) hadn’t been made when we checked in so we asked it to be done. We were assured it would be done in the evening but when we came home at 11.30pm it still hadn’t been done. So we had to ask again…it was done after midnight….waiting to go to bed is not ideal. I don’t rate this hotel at all."
