" Country road unamed , Speeders 50 / 60 mph plus used as a rat run . Not safe for walking out with dog or young child . Property nice but dog has to go too up side of road as no garden . Too fast traffic passing , Settees 2 seaters too small not comfortable and I’m a size 14 , this has been mentioned in comments book a few years ago . "This hotel is awesome! Set in a great location. Everywhere was so clean. The room was perfect for a one night stay, with the amenities you require, all catered for. There is even a room adjacent to the lifts, for microwave or bottle warming. They really have thought of everything. Being required to tag in to gain access does give you a peace of mind that only guests may enter. In the morning for breakfast, you can not loan. A great selection of everything required for a long day of walking around the awesome zoo next door"

"The staff were particularly helpful. They were out of welcome cookies but told us to make sure to call back for them. Our request for a quieter room was accommodated. The room was immaculate, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both bath and shower. Faultless."

"The staff are always very pleasant and helpful, and check-in is smooth and friendly every time. Unfortunately, I’ve been disappointed with housekeeping on my last few stays. I’ve left the “Clean My Room” tag on the door when leaving in the morning, but returned to find the tag still there and the room untouched. I have mentioned this previously at reception, but sadly it doesn’t seem to have improved. Apart from this issue, I absolutely love staying here."

"The room was clean and so was the communal areas. Location good for the ice rink, hence the selection of the hotel. Downside - I booked as it was advertised as budget but there are all the hidden extras. Breakfast was extra at £8.50 each and was only a two types of cold pastries, limited cereal, toast and a couple of toppings. Not worth £8.50. No kettles or tea/coffee in rooms - that you had to pay for but the hot water downstairs was complimentary which you had to carry upstairs if you wanted a drink in your room. I had to buy tea and some milk in order to have a drink in my room. No hairdryers or anything in the rooms at all. Just a bed and two thin towels. There was shower gel in the shower though. NO FREE PARKING - I had to pay £17.50 to park at the hotel for two nights. On the plus side - the room was functional, the beds were comfy and the water was hot but no room to spin a cat and the shower and sink are right next to the bed. So whilst it's advertised at budget, all the extras I had to pay for made it not budget at all and wished I'd booked at the Premier Inn opposite."
