"The room was spacious with a separate lounging area with a deep seated couch and tv. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself seemed to be on the tail end of a renovation with visible signs of construction material (pieces of trim were missing, some surfaces needed to be clad,…). That said, it did not take away from the experience.
Maybe I couldn’t figure it out, but when I turned on the light in the lounging area, it also turned on the light on the bedroom area. Don’t know if...

"Hotel is tucked away on a quiet street right in the middle of the tourist area of downtown Toronto. Hotel rooms were beautiful, bathroom was enormous. Beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in… But the thing that I liked the most… I think the rooms are soundproofed. It was silent. You couldn’t hear anybody in the hallways, you couldn’t hear the traffic on the street. We were on the fifth floor."
