We lunched from the bar menu and dined in the restaurant, both delicious. The spritz cocktails are heaven in a glass Wonderfully comfy bed and beautifully furnished rooms. Thoroughly recommended"

"TV remote was generic so it did work properly, I was told it was due to customers sealing the original ones, not very helpful reply though. Soap etc hard to dispense, if at all. Poor quality bathroom, with parts missing from the shower and tap and broken tiles."

"I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm."

"Everything was fine but when it came to breakfast we had to wait over an hour and when it arrived was not very nice, undercooked sausages, gluten free bread given to someone who didn't have a gluten allergy, no cups available for drinks and a giant milk jug which milk poured out of like a fountain. Obviously very understaffed in the restaurant."

"Lovely hotel, staff friendly and helpful. We used the pool and it was great, bedroom was refurbished clean and comfy beds. The breakfast was disappointing, they stopped serving at 9am, we arrived down to breakfast at 8.30am 2 adults and 2 9 year olds. We all wanted a full English breakfast but when we asked of the eggs, mushrooms and bacon were bring filled up as they were pretty much empty....we was told no because it was the end of service....there was still 30 mins to go. Plenty of other...

"Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding...
