Stayed 2 nights for the T20 cricket finals day September 2025. The hotel is around 25-30min walk to Edgbaston stadium and is lovely walk through leafy Edgbaston. Would definitely stay again if I go back for the cricket.

As excellent experience. I cannot fault this hotel. Very clean, very friendly and extremely competent staff, good food, very comfortable bed. Good comfortable bar area. And well situated. My wife and I were very comfortable and impressed We will be back when next in the area!

A great place to stay

A very comfortable, clean room, perfectly located for the University of Birmingham. Staff were extremely helpful and the meals we had in the restaurant were delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast reviews good from other people, but we thought it was quite mediocre particularly for this price point (coffee / pastries a bit dry / cooked breakfast / fruit etc more akin to breakfast available at cheaper establishments - say 60-70% of the room rate). 2 seater tables in restaurant impracticable - unable to sit with legs under table due to cross piece between table legs.

Hotel staff were very nice and bed was very comfortable. Only thing I was not too impressed about was that it took so long for food and drink to be served in the restaurant and cafe. Food was very delicious but it took ages.

Generally very modern good hotel. Don’t get a room where the fire doors are though as they are not damped and slam all night as people pass preventing sleep… please get doors damped! Otherwise very good.
