Because it could take an hour standing outside trying to navigate the self-serve check-in process as they try to collect parking fees and wait for your credit card to clear. Everything is self-serve with an unresponsive person who is on a mobile phone somewhere. We had to rattle cages at Expedia in order to check in. You want the wifi password?
