"Wow...what a wonderfull homely welcome we had. Christa showed us round and what a place with so many extra little touches. Great location not far off the main road but far enough away to have very little traffic noise. Short walk into Knysna but we chose to use Uber which was very quick and not expensive. Breakfast was delicious and a work of art. Christa arranged for a service wash of our clothes which we really appreciated for the remainder of our trip. She also advised us on things to do...

"Nice big apartment a short walk to the beach and in a peaceful location. Not too far from a Spar, restaurant, pharmacy and petrol station. You need to drive though. A little maintenance required as one of the hotplates didn't work."

"Nice for a short stay. Staff was friendly. Room was okay. Location was convenient across from a small market and quirky restaurants. Specifically chose the room with an air conditioner but the air conditioner unit vibrated the wall so loud that it was impossible to sleep. Debris from the tree above would also fall onto the tin roof very loudly. "

"The location of this resort was excellent. The large room had a beautiful view of the beach which was easily accessible. The beach is fabulous for walking on. There are no groceries or restaurant on site. However, within 15 minutes of driving, you have everything you need. This place really is perfect for a very self-sufficient. Stay on a beautiful beach. It is very relaxing and quiet."

"Lovely staff, singling out Carmen and Felicia for special compliments! Food and service were good. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The views from the main lodge were outstanding. The pool was much warmer than our last visit in September 2004! We found Hog Hollow had lost a little of its rustic charm and was more like a hotel. "

Van ontvangst, de super nette grote kamer, het uitgebreide ontbijt met dagspecial tot de fietsen die beschikbaar werden gesteld....alles super !
