"The power was out in the city when we arrived, the staff met us at the door with flashlights to help us get checked in and took us to our rooms. They were super accommodating even with no power. Luckily that evening it finally came back on any the great service didn't stop"

"I moved rooms after I noticed the first room wasn't properly cleaned and the bathtub had water that wasn't draining in it. Moved to a new room and it was great. The staff were very nice and easy to work with. The bed was comfy and the simple kitchen set up appreciated. "

We had to leave very early this morning to get my son, who was home from the military, to the airport to get back to his base. We were in a hurry, but the doors wouldn't open and nobody was around. We were kind of hollering "hello". Then a very nice man came out and aologized, and explained to us that there were some issues with people in the parking lot who had been drinking, so the doors were locked. Although...

"Great staff clean hotel room however I would recommend y’all getting fridges in the rooms like mini fridges but maybe mine just didn’t have one and you can request a room with one. Otherwise, I thought it was a great stay. The airport shuttle is a huge benefit and it’s very inexpensive. Much cheaper than any cab you could have gotten in the city which runs about 50 bucks I found"

"The employee on duty when I checked out a little late was friendly, polite, respectful, professional and very understanding, which is no longer a common experience at South Dakota hotels, unfortunately. At other hotels in Rapid City, employees will literally groan, sigh heavily and become noticeably upset when I request a late checkout. So, all of my gratitude to this property!"
