This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. "I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was amazing! Beyond the spectacular location the staff was extremely helpful and kind, the rooms were clean and cozy. The hotel is so convenient next to the train station, bus stop for the valley, and the gondola. Breakfast was a delight. Overall it was an amazing time. "
