"For £200 a night we expected everything to work. For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. On a previous visit in a cheaper room we had an iron provided , a functioning coffee machine and milk and a larger table. This was a warm cosy room.The coffee machine this time did not work. Unfortunately everything in town on Mondays is closed and there is no...

"We had a lovely 2 nights in the accomodation.. parking was good, narrow entrance, but a good number of spaces. The accomidation was ckean snd very comfortable. We would definately stay there again."

"Great stopover before early morning Eurotunnel. Gilles was a perfect host with excellent communication, wonderful breakfast with lovely apple juice made from the apples grown in the wonderful gardens. Comfy bed, nice shower with a kettle on the room, all you need for an overnight stop. The house and gardens were stunning."
