"I can think of nothing to dislike about this extraordinary property. Beautiful, manicured lawns and gardens offering beautiful vistas and pathways. The main lodge and rooms are so beautifully decorated and the atrium and dining room are spectacular as is the food. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with a nice glass of wine and chatting with the knowledgeable, nice, young bartender. Staff is friendly and helpful all leading the visitor to a special experience."

"We normally travel in a motorhome and don't stay in hotels much. But we had a short trip, so decided to stay at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA. We had stayed there before. The room was very nice but was surprised by the lack of a electrical outlet next to the bathroom sink for an electric toothbrush, etc. I really liked that the front desk texted me to see how our stay was going (nice touch). They offer a good breakfast not elaborate but sufficient several choices you could make your own waffles, but I was disappointed that they’re beautiful pool is not functional because the heater needs to be fixed or replaced after a long day of hiking or kayaking. Our floor was terribly dirty, didn't have enough towels, the room looked as if had been partially remodeled but was not finished, and the pool was closed. Not worth the money and we won't be back the next ti.e we are in the area to visit."
