The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg
10/10 Excellent
"The room was super clean, the restaurants were amazing. I loved that the gift shop was open 24 hours, the free trolly was an amazing surprise (it goes to downtown gatlinburg). The breakfast buffet was super delicious. They had a pianist playing every morning which was super cool too! The pool was fun for the teenagers I had with me just to chill out at the end of the night. Every staff member I talked to was so friendly."
"Our overall stay was great! Clean, comfortable, nice pools, great water pressure in shower, quiet during our stay. Typical breakfast, nothing special.
A/C was noisy (older unit probably); used earplugs. Room was humid, but tolerable. Dehumidifier would have helped.
Great rates for our stay (late August)."
"Everything and Everyone was great! The only small objection was the outdoor pool closed too early. We had a blast anyway. The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant, the food was a tad expensive but you pay for convenience. We are definitely coming back one day."
"Nice, quiet, and clean. The jacuzzi is a great feature and I suppose the fireplace will be too, in the fall and winter. We did not get to experience the pool since we had a short stay, but it looked inviting. Location is really good, right off the main drag and has a traffic light, which makes it easier to get in and out.
The staff was informative and all were very nice. We left a tip for housekeeping even though we didn’t have them come in on our 2-day stay.
We did have a couple of things that are not necessarily negative, but suggestions for improvement. We stayed in a nice suite, but the bed was very hard. It may only need a thin memory foam on top to make it a little better. I would also suggest different pillows. I think both were maybe down-filled. I would think a memory foam of some kind coupled with a down would be a good match.
Overall, a very good stay. I would definitely consider Music Road again."
