"Property was stunning and would definitely recommend. The host was fabulous and sent information well in advance and offered any advice or input if we needed whist at the property. Really stunning property and a lot of thought and care has gone into making it a lovely get away home ."

"Excellent location, parking spot outside the property, brilliant views from the balcony, nice touches by owner, wine and milk in the fridge, Welsh cakes on the dining table, 2 bathrooms. Stairs a little steep, so be aware of that when booking"

"great views and lovely location.
The property is being sold and clearly needs a loving hug.
It will make for a beautiful home with someone giving it some care and attention.
Great place for a short stay - no tea towels or soaps sadly but generally clean and tidy."

"Really great place to stay. Worth noting that access is up a narrow single-track road for a few hundred metres. Cottage in great condition with nice facilities. Milk, butter and jam in the fridge and a loaf of bread was a nice touch. Thoroughly recommended. "

"We stayed in the triple room for one night. At the price we paid for 3 people, with a really good breakfast included, we were very happy. Free parking with great directions to find the carpark. Easy check-in and warm welcome. The room was at the front of the hotel and we found it quiet for a Friday night. TV, Kettle with plenty of tea and coffee. The window opened nice and wide so we could get a breeze through. The mattresses were very soft, not great for me but my daughter loved them. The floorboards creaked a lot but it is an old building with character, so to be expected. Large shower cubicle with lovely hot water and good pressure and a few bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Plenty of towels. The breakfast was the star of the show though! Help yourself to cereal and toast, coffee/hot choc machine, plenty of different teas. Cooked breakfast was lovely and good ingredients. Loved the jug of milk and orange juice on the table. No issue asking for a refill. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I would definite stay again when in the area."
"We spent two nights in the Coach House in early July and found it clean and comfortable. Our room was accessible by a relatively steep and narrow set of stairs, which was fine for us but could be an issue for travelers with mobility issues or a lot of luggage. There is no air conditioning but a fan was provided (though given then outlet locations, we weren't able to position it in a very helpful location). The location of the hotel is great and we were able to walk to the bus stop to take the bus to the Pen y Pass trailhead, and then back down the Llanberis Path directly to the hotel.
Breakfast was nice and included a good selection of hot and cold items (eggs, hash browns, toast, fruit, cereal, etc.) and beverages. We enjoyed afternoon snacks, drinks and dinner in the bar area and picnic tables outside. There weren't many places open for a late lunch or early dinner in town so we spent most of our free time at the hotel.
The demographic while we were there was a bit strange - lots of elderly folks who appeared to be part of a tour group. Not sure if that's typical, but it made it feel a little like we were staying in a retirement home."
"Upon arrival we were greeted by reception staff and they were very polite and friendly. They gave us all the information we needed and showed us to our room. The room was neat and tidy and was adequate for our needs. Alex in the 1885 bar was very polite and friendly too. Going into breakfast next morning was lovely. We we were greeted by Lorraine and asked if we would like to a window table. She explained everything in detail and the breakfast menu was superb whither fresh fruit and yogurts and a great selection for breakfast.
The poached eggs were perfect but we have to give a special mention for the chef Mick who made the most superb overnight oats with a selection of fruits and almonds it was delicious. Would we stay again, most certainly. Well done everyone for making our stay most enjoyable."
"It's an intriguing mixture of an old opposite-the-station hotel, but with beach bar vibe and student staff, and hang out for some locals, even at 8:00 in the morning. I appreciated the on-site parking and the friendly welcome. Food was good. I missed the advertised Thai breakfast the following morning, but had excellent Pad Thai the previous evening. There's a theme here - the owner/manager is Thai.
It's not quite sure what it is. I saw somewhere that it was described as a bunkhouse. No, it's at least a guest house, almost a hotel, though it still has a handful of rooms that are not en-suite.
So its identity is confusing, but it was welcoming and comfortable."
"We had one night here, perfect location for Trearddur bay , the valley and Holyhead.
The hotel had just been taken over, the new owner seems excited to bring a new lease of life to the place.
Hotel was quiet throughout the night, although the cleaners did disturb us at 8am chatting to each other in the corridor and slamming doors, maybe an idea to have the housekeeping staff start at 9am.
The restaurant wasn’t yet open but we popped into the bar for a few drinks, the bar man was very friendly. The owner was very welcoming and I wish him the very best wishes on bringing the place to life again as it has so much potential. I would book again and look forward to the changes to come. And hopefully the restaurant will be up and running so we can enjoy a cooked breakfast."
"All members of staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They go about their duties efficiently and effectively. Our room was clean and serviced daily with the hospitality tray and toiletries being replenished regularly. There is a fairly good choice of food at the breakfast buffet and also a variety of hot dishes are available and served at your table."
"Location location location! Brilliant hotel for a weekend retreat away. It's great value for money and the stunning beach is only 2 mins walk away. My mum, daughter and I have been twice now we love it that much."
"This is a fantastic hall and spa in Anglesey, with very helpful and friendly staff. The spa was wonderful with a great pool.
Great grounds. Italian food tasty, big portions, but may be a slightly larger selection of wines? Breakfast was very filling and tasty.
Will be going back"
