Service and restaurant were great but room was extremely tiny with tiny tv, no air con but loud fan and you could feel building moving when big cars were passing by on the main street. Loud so forget about sleeping with windows open. And if you fat, you might struggle to fit into shower cabin 😳

Charming Friendly Town
Sunday stay in connection with nearby gathering with friends. Central location right in town center although road work slowed down access. Hotel terrace busy with visitors including many bicyclists stopping for refreshments. Town quite walkable with interesting history including several unique churches; glass roof on (restored) Broer Kerk monument with artistic statue of bat worth a visit.

We hebben genoten van het restaurant. Leuke bediening en een goede kaart.
Omdat we nogal vroeg waren, mochten we onze fietstassen alvast binnen zetten in de ontbijtruimte. Ook hebben we onze fietsen onderdak en afgesloten kunnen stallen.

Wir haben für ein Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück knapp über 150 € bezahlt. Das entspicht dem Preis eines 4-Sternen-Hotels. Nun was haben wir für dieses Geld bekommen? Der Besitzer hat das Konzept : " Verdiene so viel, wie möglich, aus einem engsten Raum". Das Zimmer war ca. 10 qm groß. In der Mitte stand ein Doppelbett und es gab kaum Platz um das Bett herum zu gehen. Wir stolperten ständig an den Bettecken und am eigenen Gepäck. Links oben in der Ecke hängte ein kleiner Fernseher (Laptop-Größe). Die Fenster ließen sich nicht vollständig öffnen, nur ein kleiner Spalt von unten. Keine Klimaanlage.
Noch schlimmer war das Bad: ca. 3 m x 1,5 m. Und das mit der Toilette zusammen. Im Badezimmer konnten wir uns kaum bewegen. Das Fenster war komplett dicht - also keine Luftzirkulation. Nach dem Duschen ging der ganze Dampf ins Zimmer hinein.
In der Nacht konnten wir höhren worüber im Flühr und im Zimmer neben an geredet wurde - so schlimm war die Schallisolation.
Wir sind mit einem Motorrad bei Draußentemperaturen über 30 Grad eingereist und konnten die ganze Nacht in diesem Hotel nicht geschlafen - eine Superunterkunft, oder?
Allerdings war das Personal sehr gut und nett. Eine Angestellte besorgte für unser Motorrad einen sicheren Stellplatz in der Garage des Fahradgeschäfts von nebenan.

Heel mooi hotel in hartje Bolsward
Mijn vriendin en ik hadden een verblijf geboekt voor één nacht voor onze roadtrip door Friesland. Het is een heel mooi hotel dat zeer authentiek ingericht is. Het personeel is vriendelijk en heeft ons ook goed geholpen. De kamer was op de bovenste verdieping die, vanwege de hittegolf van 30+ graden, redelijk warm was. Gelukkig hing er een grote ventilator aan het plafond die de nodige verkoeling bezorgde. Het uitzicht vanuit de zolderkamer is prachtig, je kunt over het hele centrum van Bolsward heen kijken. Het ontbijt is niet groot maar gewoon voldoende. De hoek waar het ontbijt staat is net te klein om voldoende neer te kunnen zetten voor iedereen waardoor bijvoorbeeld het brood redelijk snel op raakt. Dit wordt snel weer aangevuld maar het is dus opletten wanneer nieuwe broodjes gebracht worden. We hebben 's avonds nog een drankje gedaan op het terras van het hotel en de kosten daarvan konden op kamernummer gezet worden zodat je (bij een verblijf van meerdere dagen) alles in één keer kunt afrekenen, heel handig! Het parkeren moet in principe op de openbare parkeerplaats op +-3 min lopen van het hotel maar voor het afzetten en inladen van spullen mochten we kort onze auto neerzetten bij de parkeerplaatsen direct naast het hotel. Kortom, een prima hotel op een toplocatie voor een betaalbare prijs!

De geboekte kamer van 20 m2, was aanmerkelijk kleiner. Daar het hotel vol was, was het ontbijtbuffet absoluut niet corona proof, het was er veel te druk. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopte niet. Dit was tot nu toe het duurste hotel, maar tevens het minste

Prima, royale kamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Hotel ligt in het centrum van Bolsward. De badkamer was net opnieuw betegeld. Aandachtspuntje is het schoonmaken van de binnenkant van de douchecabine en de matrassen, die volgens mij bijna aan vervanging toe zijn.
