"So there's no real amenities at this place even though you pay a resort and amenities fee. Property doesnt have the restaurant running at the inn which is the only real amenity so that was a major bummer since you kind of rely on it being open for dinner considering everything else is 40 mins out w/o traffic. "Wonderful place. You can tell they take a lot of pride with this property. The room was really comfortable and exceptionally clean. The decor was pleasing and unlike any other motel I have stayed in. Check in was easy and during my 3 night stay it was very quiet. Which was greatly appreciated. I’d recommend Founders Brook Motel and Suites to everyone. Thank you for this gem. I’ll definitely be back"

"The room and bath were very nice. The only minor issue was that there is no in-room thermometer, so it was a chilly room in March. The staff was super nice, and it was a treat to have a hot breakfast.
The only booking issue was that no where on the Expedia site did it note the floor location of the rooms. The room I booked happened to be on the 3rd floor, with fairly steep, narrow stairs (not ideal for someone with knee/hip issues). I didn't think to call the property to ask, but room...

"I cannot say enough good things about this place— it was the best part of our trip! Super easy to get into your room, from the nice ambiance in the stairwell to the cleanest room & bathroom I have ever stayed in. The bed is really comfortable and there was no noise that was heard from any other rooms.
From the Admiral we walked to Chomp to have dinner one night, which was very good, and in the mornings we walked to the Picnic Cafe for coffee and they have good pastries. And if you can get there...

"We had an awesome stay at The Hamilton- Hoppin House. The room was very clean and spacious. Our stay was during some of the coldest weather Newport has seen in years and the room was still nice and warm. The property has a ton of historic charm and still provides a very comfortable stay.
