"Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night. The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and...

"Beautiful hotel with an excellent breakfast included. But we had an issue with the air conditioning. Don't think it was working at all which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. After the first night we told a young man about the problem and was assured it would be fixed. But it was not."

"We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

"The hotel in general was very nice. The room was good with a nice little balcony with a good view of the building site! I didn't realise there was building work going on outside because I didn't see anything on the website. It didn't make much difference to our stay other than an early rise but it would have been good to know in advance. The room was well decorated and quite new and modern, the only thing that was disappointing was the comfort of the bed, we had 2 rooms and none of the 4 of us...

The chioce of breakfasts were the best that we have ever had and the evening meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was bright, and so welcoming. The beds were confortable too. "The hotel is older and could use updating. Landscaping appears to be overgrown in some areas. Outside our window was an old grocery cart and a piece of fencing. Not sure why it was there. Parking was limited and there was no air conditioning. Showers were very small."
