"Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night. The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and...

"Great staff, decent sized rooms. The hotel is like a sauna, almost impossible to sleep at night because of it. No air-conditioning, windows open slightly as with many hotels. Request a fan before arrival but they are noisy on the highest setting."

"Wanted a room for a single night to break a journey. Could not have chosen better. Easy check in at the bar and plenty of parking. We were a couple but given a very spacious family room. It was clean with nice bedding and towels. No food on site but that is reflected in the very reasonable price. Lots of bars and eateries a short walking distance away. The recommemdations made by the host were both great."
