"Exceptionally clean and comfy room, fresh bedding and towels available. Perfect location on the river, by the train station with just a 5 minute walk to the city centre. We stayed in room 1 and had a lovely view of the river on the morning, hotel was quiet, warm and comfortable. Martyn assisted with great communication telling us everything we needed to know prior to getting to the guest house, check in and check out was simple and easy. "The staff was very welcoming, and gave us a run down of attractions in York. They accomidated our request for ground floor due to physical limitations, which other locations did not. Mo even made us and another couple dinner one night. It was within walking distance of the train station. I would definitely stay here again"
