We went to Mohegan Island with the Balmy Bay cruise. It was great. Fun hiking on the Island. Also, go to the Botanical Gardens. It's worth it and beautiful. Fun things to do for the kids there as well.

I thought it was a pretty tourist town. Good historic, self-guided walking tour. Beautiful views. Very charming hills and turns (that weren't so charming to my knees!).

It is a picturesque town. We enjoyed exploring the area and meeting new people. To top off our trip we went to Gardens Aglow that is within 9 miles from Tugboat Inn. What a treat that was.

We loved the coastal Maine Botanical Gardens-just 10 minutes drive out of town! Worth a visit! Plenty of nice restaurants to walk to. We could stay one night-so much to do-wish we stayed longer!
