"Staying at the Johnson Shore Inn truly felt like a home away from home. We especially enjoyed winding down each day in the cozy dining room, savouring delicious meals and great conversations with fellow guests. Our room was beautifully decorated, peaceful, and offered a perfect place to relax. The breakfast was enormous and delicious! The setting is stunning—perched on red cliffs with breathtaking sunsets every evening. Mel and Dave are fantastic chefs, so be sure to include at least one dinner during your stay (we were lucky to enjoy three!). A special highlight was the evening we were treated to oysters and bubbly before dinner—such a thoughtful touch. The spacious dining area offers individual tables for each party, so there's no need to worry about communal seating if that’s not your style. Don’t hesitate to book this charming inn—you’ll arrive as guests and leave feeling like part of the family."

"Clean, quiet, and comfortable! Good location to explore the eastern part of the island. Charlottetown is just over an hour away. Beds were comfortable. AC was really nice for the humidity. Friendly staff. Fridge in the room is handy for small food items but cannot fit a medium sized pizza box from Greco Pizza. Restaurants in Souris close at 8, so you gotta plan your evenings accordingly. View of the ocean was nice each morning and evening. I really liked staying here and would definitely stay again!"

"This is a very nice place to relax and take it easy. Note, if more than two rooms are occupied, one bathroom will need to be shared. The "barn" is very quirky with bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, large kitchen but this is what makes it charming. If one wants to spend a night in splendid isolation, thats the place. Note you will need to eat before getting there or bring your own grocery as the nearest place to eat is far. The kitchen is well equipped, so one can turn out gourmet meals."

The quietness enveloped us, wrapping us in a cocoon of peace. A short drive took us to shimmering shores where the waves danced playfully under the afternoon sun. We indulged in fresh seafood at the many quaint local restaurants, savoring every bite while we joyed just being together in such a beautiful place. Wandering through the town, I found a feeling I hadn’t experienced in years-the freedom to roam without apprehension. What struck me most was the considerate nature of the drivers, who patiently stopped at crosswalks, allowing us to explore at our leisure. It felt like a community woven together by kindness. By the time we returned to the inn each night, the peaceful ambiance encouraged restful sleep, a welcome reprieve from the frantic energy of city life. Each day unfolded like the last, filled with exploration and the simple joy of being together. This trip was more than just a getaway and we look forward to returning with open hearts and eager spirits. "
