"Stayed at the River hotel for a concert in Chicago. The property itself is in a perfect location for downtown scenery. The room was clean and offered great amenities. The staff was helpful and even explained some tips and tricks to get the uber faster and how to get to the stadium. Overall a great stay"

"Be very clear about the destination fees and high parking daily. These totaled to the ‘discount’ I got when I made the reservation. Although not exactly false advertising, it is super misleading."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Emily. Staff were friendly throughout my stay. I love the brand used for shower gel and shampoo. The only thing I would change, is the location of the full body mirror. I need to be able to back up and see myself. The bed restricted that and the flare from the window made it difficult to look at myself in daylight. Other than that, I’d stay there again. My first time in Chicago (thanks to Kanye) and I’m thrilled that my research brought me to the Emily."

"Room was clean and well maintained. View was not the best — looked out on a building across the alleyway with boarded up windows. But I was sleeping most of the time so who cares? Didn’t use the gym or the pool, but b’fast had a pretty decent selection of hot foods and cereals along with muffins, fruit, juices and coffee. I forgot to pack dental floss; front desk staff had some!"

"This was such a perfect place to stay and I'll definitely stay here whenever going to Chicago. It was close enough to downtown to make it easy to access, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were all friendly and kind, the room was beautiful, the bed was very comfy, and the whole place had such a fun vibe and great decor. Breakfast was tasty and the menu options felt like something you'd order at your favorite fancy brunch spot, with fruit and pastries to round it out."
