"Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, right on the river. Had an evening meal and breakfast there and the food was very good. Room was ok… bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit shabby… paint peeling off the walls, lots of black mould on the bottom of the shower door and it smelt of damp, probably due to the poor drainage of the shower."

"Property was a nice cosy 3 bedroom house with a living room and full kitchen. All that was required for simple cooking was available, even an oven and air fryer. Heating took a bit of figuring to activate, heated towel rack was not working in one of the toilets. On/off electrical switches also took a bit to figure out what is for what. Parking was great, dedicated slot right in front of the property. Check in and out was easy. Communication with the property agent/owner was slow though. "

"Most Wonderful Experience! Beautifully cared for and renovated manor house. Superb grounds, excellent breakfasts, bar with a nice feel and aesthetic. Our room was incredible. Unbeknownst to us, management upgraded our room to a garden suite, which took our breath away. The suite was huge and gorgeously appointed, as was the bathroom. We had a private patio with a firepit. Gracious staff ensured that we had firewood, tea, snacks…anything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again!"

"We loved this property, the location and the staff. The front house manager works very hard and runs an excellent ship. The barkeep and restaurant staff were friebadly and the food was fantastic. We are returning from Vancouver in May to stay again. It was a great base for so much beautiful walking. The local shops are lovely and the Old Bakery tea house is 1 moment down the road, tell Alan we sent you. He is a local gem.🇨🇦"
