"Great location near short driving distance to major attractions, shopping and nice restaurants. All amenities worked well including air-condition and shower. Quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious room. Friendly helpful staff. Safe area and uptown Sedona at walking distance. Comfortable bed. Nice swimming pool and very helpful laundry service included in resort fee. Did not use fitness room."

"This place should be condemned, a roach motel at best. The sheets were dirty covered in hair. The bathroom was gross. No staff work at this place. The AC sounded like a jet taking off. My keys to the room were siting in a box outside the building. I don’t know how it has good reviews? At $220 a night I expected better."

"Nice big room with a pretty view but the cleanliness could be better. I sat down on the bed comforter and was instantly covered in dog hair. The room had a smell to it that we had to leave our door open for an hour to air out. They don’t even provide fitted sheets for the bed which is new to me. Probably won’t stay here again until I bring my own sheets"

"There was no staff so no interaction. The check in was easy. The location of the motel is excellent. We got a bigger room so it was very comfortable. Big TV! The mini fridge was also very useful for all the water we had! I think the Star Motel is a very good choice for the price. Everything was very clean."

When we attempted to show our reservation, we were shouted at by the desk clerk. When we attempted to leave, she followed us. After contacting Expedia, they had sent our reservation to the hotel. The problem was entirely on the end of the hotel. Expedia attempted to contact the hotel, but the hotel never responded. I sent a note to the manager of the hotel when...
